Before joining CU Boulder, I completed my Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Notre Dame where I was advised by Dr. David Chiang. As a part of the NLP Lab at Notre Dame, I worked on Automated Speech Recognition for low-resource Indic dialects and language varities.

My current research interests lie in cultural analytics, AI assisted fiction writing, low-resource NLP and automated speech recognition. Broadly, my research interests are as follows:

  • Low Resource NLP: Improving the scope, accessibility and quality of various NLP and ASR tools for low-resource linguistic communities.
  • AI Assisted Fiction Writing: Developing tools for writers who work in multilingual and multi-modal creative spaces.
